Winter  has set in upon us and it is that time of year when many people seem to hibernate. The thought of curling up under  a nice warm blanket and drinking a nice  hot cup of coffee is a source of comfort for me. However I am a people person, and after a while I desire and crave to have that interaction with others once again.

             Throughout the New Testament we read stories of Jesus sharing meals with his disciples, friends, and even some folks who many of the church leaders felt Jesus shouldn’t be associating with. But Jesus found deep value in sharing a meal with people in order to see who they truly are and who they were meant to be in God’s eyes.

             During these cold winter months wouldn’t it be great to have a meal with someone, or even a few folks, whom you want to encourage to be all that God wants them to be. This is part of what Angel Food Ministries is all about. Certainly proper nutrition and nourishment for our individual bodies is important, but Angel Food Ministries wants to see people and families come together  in love and support to nourish our souls as well.
